Also the person with the best laptime of the competition gets a nice trophy. 5) Braai party after the last race. 6) Pitbabes in Grand Final :-) or take your own..... Details 1) Every third Saturday starting from 9.00 o’clock. Full program depends on number of teams. 2) Competition over 6 months period: from 30th of August until last weekend of January 2009 3) You are competing for the Title `King of the Track`. There are trophies for 1st 2nd and 3d place and best laptime. 4) Competition results will be shown in Namib Times and on our website. 5) Team min. average weight: 75 kg (teams that have a lower average weight will get time penalties during the races) 6) Minimum age to participate is 12 years old and a minimum length of 1,50m 7) Go karts according to draw (every race) (so no preferences can be made.. no bribes being taken :-)) 8) Payments please in advance to R&R Karting account or cash at the counter. 9) R&R Staff is excluded from the race event 10) Points to teams are given according to: pole position (1 point), race order (race winner and so on 8-1 points), best lap time during the race (2 points). 11) If there are more than 8 teams, we will have to split up the races in the same race weekends (we only allow 8 Go Karts on the track at the same time) 12) During the Championship all conditions apply as stated in our regular Indemnity form. During the races the race leader will make the final decisions when necessary . Appeal is not possible. 13) Team changes during the competition are allowed as long as the minimum average weight of the team stays 75kg (we weigh before the race) (For big company’s who want to give more employees a change to drive) 14) Every teammember has to qualify at least once. 15) Participants must have raced before at our racetrack. Otherwise they will have to drive a compulsory practise of N$ 100.00.
