Join us for a 6 months competition. Weightclasses To ensure that you have an equal fight, we are racing according to the following Weight classes: 1) 50 – 70 kg 2) 71 – 90 kg 3) 91 - .... kg When The competition is over a 6 month period, but you can also take part in just one race. It starts beginning of September and will end in January (2 races in January) The raceweekends will take place every first or second Saturday morning of the month. Depending on the amount of people who sign in we set the exact racedates for the different weightclasses. Before payment you will receive the detailed race schedule. No time to participate in every race, but still wanting to show people your skills in a real competition? 1) You can sign in and pay for every single race separately: Just give us a call or come by the go karttrack in the weeks before the race starts and we will see if there is still place to fit you in for the next race in your weightclass. 2) You will also get points according to our point system, but the more races you compete, the more chance of becoming overall champion of course! Racing fee includes Per Weight class, the following 6 races will be organized: Race weekend 1: 1x 5 minutes, 1x 10 minutes and 1x 20 minutes Race weekend 2: 1x 10 minutes and 1x 25 minutes Race weekend 3: 1x 5 minutes, 1x 10 minutes and 1x 20 minutes Race weekend 4: 1x 10 minutes and 1x 25 minutes Race weekend 5: 1x 5 minutes, 1x 10 minutes and 1x 20 minutes Race weekend 6: Grand Final 1x 5 minutes qualify and 1 x 30 minutes Note: 1) Positions on the grid: First race according to qualifying, the other races according to race results from the race before 2) Go Karts in all races according to a draw. So in one raceweekend you have the chance to drive in three different go karts! Qualifying Before every race all participants need to qualify. Your qualification must be done somewhere in the three weeks before every race. The qualifying must be 5 minutes and is included in the race fee. You can decide yourself when and with which go kart you will do that. The only thing you will have to do is give us notice when you are ready to do your qualifying session. This makes it exciting, because you will never know when somebody will challenge your time. We will show all the qualification times on a big signboard. According to this qualification time we will put you in race order in the raceweekend. The option to qualify for the race ends on friday at 18.00 before the race weekend. You did not qualify before that time then you will have to start in last position in the race. Further details: 3) In every race there are points to score for the winning position up to the last position (8-1 points), and also 2 points for the fastest lap time of the weekend 4) Every raceweekend there will be a winnersceremony, a bottle of champagne and certificate for the winner. Also the person with the best laptime gets a small surprise. 5) After the last race the 1st, 2nd, 3rd position get throphys and small surprises. 6) The Namib Times will write about all results 7) If you are sure you are going to compete in every race you can choose to pay upfront for all the races. You pay only N$ 2800.00 in total. 8) Persons participating need to be at least 12 years and 1.50 mtr.
